Intimate ceremonies and elopements

The Best Kept Secret

Eloping is not a dirty word!

The world has been taken over by COVID 19. The year 2020 I thought would be the worst of it, but here we are back in 2021 and all weddings are currently on hold in Sydney and whilst regional New South Wales can currently still go ahead with weddings...everything feels shaky and unsure. So many of my couples have family and friends overseas or in other Australian states, the anxiety they feel as we postpone more weddings, some for the third time (!) is incredible.

Earlier this year I was able to increase guest lists and the feeling of triumph I felt when finally my couples knew that they could dance to celebrate their wedding was wonderful. But here we are again. What's the answer? Postponing is of course preferable to cancelling. However, I would encourage you to consider smaller more intimate ceremonies or elopements. In these uncertain times, your friends will understand that you want to move on with your lives, your family overseas in England will be delighted to know that you have married the person of your dream.

An intimate ceremony and celebration or elopement can still be beautiful with gorgeous details and experiences for those attending. Whilst it won't be as expensive as a large reception, there is plenty of gorgeous details that we could arrange. For example, Saying 'I do' in a lighthouse, or a luxury beachfront mansion, a private chef, wait staff, mobile hair and make up team, whale watching the next day after a lazy breakfast brunch in bed. Visits to local wineries or horseback riding. There are so many options and we are only limited by our imaginations. I also have a special mid-week elopement package with wonderful local vendors. So don't despair! Email me and we can chat about something so special and amazing that you will wonder why you didn't think to go small in the first place.
